I agree Rob there are quite a few factors that sort of get added on to the price later and can make a big difference to your budget. Be sure to get that all important final price before commiting your wallet!

Good article on pricing. Also, remember that stone countertops also are priced in liner feet and can be quite expensive depending on the type of edge you choose. But, this is also in addition to a per square foot charge based on the color stone you choose.
